Matthews Mansion

We were very delighted to see the glass doors have all been installed.  We can't play with most of them at the moment as the floor is being prepared for the underfloor heating.  I was told regulations say concrete, then sand then insulation, then pipes then concrete. Inside, work on the bathroom tiling has moved quickly. The loft bathroom has been edged and grouted with a light grey. The tiling on the main bathroom is also underway.  We are currently without a toilet. I suspect they will be fixing that first chance they get.  

The roof is finished and they are doing the plasterboard on the ceiling. The loft is powered, the lights work.  YAY.  And the loft bathroom tiling us underway. The loft also has doors with handles.  I quite like the handles.      

 This week we get most of the roof of the rear extension.  This is very exciting as the house is really getting a sense of it all coming together.          The side extension ceiling has also been finished. This was done in fibreglass the same as the roof of the loft. Also there has been work inside with electrics connected in the loft Also wiring in the rear extension. And in other news.  The cat escaped the back garden, up the tree then along the fence and out.  He did come back but can no longer be contained!!!!!
