 We have been in for a week, and it is quite nice. the Decorator was in touching up the painting and we had some landscape gardeners doing some turf.  But really.... now the builders are gone till next year. Apparently woodchip that is starting to decompose is an ok bedding material for grass.

The weather outside is frightful

The weather has been frightful, which allows us to notice that the house does not leak.... Actually, its quite comfortable, though you can hear the rain on the roof in the loft, but it is isn't that loud.  Also I managed to do my Christmas shopping before lockdown was called.  And we got the tree in too. Site Makeover

With the scaffolding down we can see the changes to the house better.  The builders have taken the opportunity to do more digging and build the foundations now that the drain pipes are sorted. And that big pile of rubble disappeared overnight. And then ....
