The Roof is... On

 The roof at the front is on.. I think they are working on top now... But I can't see that bit.

Here is a view from the loft ( Dave braved the ladder to get up there) and it is a lovely view from up there.

It is open at the back and the window at the front is open too.  But the weather this weekend is supposed to be excellent, so that probably won't matter.

 We have been in for a week, and it is quite nice. the Decorator was in touching up the painting and we had some landscape gardeners doing some turf.  But really.... now the builders are gone till next year. Apparently woodchip that is starting to decompose is an ok bedding material for grass.

The weather outside is frightful

The weather has been frightful, which allows us to notice that the house does not leak.... Actually, its quite comfortable, though you can hear the rain on the roof in the loft, but it is isn't that loud.  Also I managed to do my Christmas shopping before lockdown was called.  And we got the tree in too.
