More Defoliation

The clearing of the garden is still progressing. 
The tree man came yesterday and cleared the nominated unwanted trees.
He took 3 whole trees and left us 3 stumps and a pile of wood chips.
One of the stumps is still in the way, so I am not sure what I will do about that.  I might just ignore it for now.

 We have been in for a week, and it is quite nice. the Decorator was in touching up the painting and we had some landscape gardeners doing some turf.  But really.... now the builders are gone till next year. Apparently woodchip that is starting to decompose is an ok bedding material for grass.

The weather outside is frightful

The weather has been frightful, which allows us to notice that the house does not leak.... Actually, its quite comfortable, though you can hear the rain on the roof in the loft, but it is isn't that loud.  Also I managed to do my Christmas shopping before lockdown was called.  And we got the tree in too.
